Review: WIRED Open Source News Roundup
I’m what you might call a Good Old School Fat Webmaster. Born in the era of table-based layouts, dial-up modems, and when “SEO” meant stuffing your meta keywords until the page wheezed. I’ve survived the browser wars, Flash intros, and that dark time when every website had an auto-playing MIDI file. These days, I roam the modern web with the same curiosity I had back when “responsive design” meant you yelled at your monitor until it fit. I write, comment, and link to things that catch my eye — sometimes seriously, sometimes with the kind of sarcasm that only comes from years in the trenches of HTML, CSS, and questionable PHP scripts.
